Description
Oust EXTRA herbicide provides long-lasting foliar and residual control of a broad-spectrum of woody vines, troublesome brush and broadleaf weeds. When you’re able to keep conifer plantation sites clear of weeds and unwanted brush, the trees are able to grow bigger and faster, develop deeper and stronger root systems, which leads to more rapid diameter and height growth. Oust EXTRA does the job, delivering both pre- and post-emergent control. It’s the ideal product for your conifer site preparation program.
It may also be used to control certain hardwoods and vines when applied in site preparation treatments.
Oust EXTRA delivers proven performance on more than 100 tough broadleaf weeds and grasses, including ragweed, dandelion and lambsquarter. It is a dispersible granule herbicide that can be mixed in water and applied as a spray or impregnated on dry, bulk fertilizer. When applied as a spray, it is absorbed by both the roots and foliage of plants, rapidly inhibiting the growth of susceptible weeds. When applied on dry fertilizer, it is absorbed primarily by the roots. For best results, apply before or during the early stages of weed growth before weeds develop an established root system. For additional flexibility and control, Oust EXTRA can be tank mixed with other herbicides registered for use in conifer plantations and non-crop sites.
Features:
- Better solubility for more consistent, uniform spray coverage
- Low odor, low volatility and low use rates
- Easy to mix
- Re-suspends quickly after weather delays to improve downtime
- Not a federally restricted-use pesticide
Oust EXTRA is long lasting, reducing the need for reapplication. When applied in late summer, early fall or winter, it helps provide herbaceous weed control the following spring. It’s also easy to mix and use, even after wind and rain delays.
